The apartment is located a few minutes walk from the historic center of the city (just 100 meters from the entrance to the beautiful Boboli Gardens and 800 meters from the Pitti Palace), but at the same time it is located in the greenery of the prestigious and residential area of Poggio Imperiale well served by countless shops, restaurants and a supermarket.
The 105 sqm apartment is located on the 1st floor inside an ancient building of the '900 in one of the most beautiful and quiet areas of Florence, luxuriously renovated with ancient frescoes and high ceilings, large soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms; going into detail the house consists of: a large entrance hall with ancient fresco, two large bedrooms equipped with every comfort; the first room consists of a double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, the second bedroom consists of a double bed and a single bed with wardrobe and bedside tables, 1 exclusive bathroom reserved for the master bedroom with crystal shower, 2nd master bathroom also 'it with crystal shower, beautiful living-dining room of approx. 30 with antique fresco of the 900, well equipped kitchenette including a balcony. The furniture is new including latex mattresses and wooden slats. Guests can enjoy free WI-FI super fast (Fiber) throughout the apartment, air conditioning, safe, towels, bed linen, bathrobes, disposable slippers, hair dryer, iron, bath foam. No additional costs will be applied for the consumption of energy, water and gas.
The apartment can be reached by car, the area is not subject to limited traffic.
For those who want to park their car or rent it is available for a fee (€ 20.00 per day for small / medium cars while for the other € 23.00) a comfortable indoor garage (not owned by me) adjacent to the apartment. Availability is subject to confirmation. The garage can also be booked directly by the customer by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address: garagelaperla @ yahoo. it, indicating name and surname and telephone number, day and time of arrival and departure (advance payment is not requested).

Upon arrival (check-in) guests must pay in cash the tourist tax provided by the Municipality of Florence (€ 3 per day per person for a maximum of seven nights, excluding children under the age of 12). In addition, guests staying in the house must:
- show a valid identification document (passport or identity card);
- sign the lease,
as provided for by Italian law

Simone was such a delight to meet and a wonderful host, helping us before our visit with pending strikes that caused travel delays to wonderful suggestions for restaurants etc. The apartment is immaculate and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the couch may be the most comfortable ever! The beds were very comfy and so nice to have two bathrooms. Very quiet neighborhood but close to wonderful bakeries and cafes and bars...we loved being in a more authentically Italian neighborhood away from the mass of tourists on the other side of the river. Highly recommend and we will definitely return on any future visits. Simone thank you for everything, your kindness and patience are immense!

The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The host supplied all the nice little amenities one would want. The host was very nice and pleasurable to deal with. There are two good & reasonably priced restaurants (and a bakery) within a 1 minute walk. The air conditioning was helpful as it was warm when we visited. A great value!

Absolutely amazing!!!

This property is so beautifully designed. The paintings on the ceilings are gorgeous. The furniture is stunning and comfortable. Simone was so accommodating, an excellent host! I will definitely stay there again if in Florence!!!

Perfect Stay in Florence

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The Host, Simone, was extremely professional and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. There is not an elevator, but it’s only on the second floor so it was easy to get up and down with no issues. There is also a washing machine which is on the outside balcony in which you can hang clothes to dry with clothes pins. We used it twice while we were there for small loads and it worked out great. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs. Everything you could need. Beds were very comfortable. The area is great as it is walking distance to Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens which should not be missed. There is a really good gelato spot on the corner called Sbrino’s. We also enjoyed a cafe on the next street over that had indoor and outdoor seating. There are plenty of places to eat that are within walking distance. We took the bus to avoid walking so much to further areas, and tickets can be bought for that right at the corner store. Very easy and they come frequently. The grocery store, Carrefor, is a few minutes by walking. We would definitely stay here again and hope to visit Florence again soon! Such a beautiful and unique place.

Location, Location, Location!!

We were 2 couples visiting Florentine friends plus a student studying in Florence for a semester and we could not have found a more perfect apartment and location! It is right outside the ancient Florence door, wall, and Boboli Gardens. It was easy to walk everywhere but away from the crowds and tranquil. Groceries were minutes away. Our friends knew so many sweet spots for eating and drinking near the apartment and also agreed it is one of the best locations to be in Florence!The apartment was perfect for 2 couples, and had lovely space for hosting. We did not really cook, but the kitchen had all the basics, including oil, salt, sugar, coffee, etc. The beds were SO comfortable, from mattress to linens and everything was spotless. Simone greeted us for check in with 2 bottles of wine, bottled water, and some cold drinks in the fridge. His English is far better than my Italian and we had no problems communicating! We highly recommend and hope to return!

Perfect Florence Getaway. Fantastic Host.

This was a trip of a life time. Simone made sure everything was perfect. He answered any questions we had. He had drinks in the fridge and 2 bottles of wine waiting too ! . The apartment is spotless and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and beautiful furnishings. The location is great. We walked everywhere from the apartment. The neighborhood has many different options for food and shopping.Pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, gelato, bars, restaurants, taxi, bus & more super close. Simone saved the day by driving us to the train station at 4:30 am when we had a mix up with taxi service. He really is a gem! We will definitely choose Simone’s home again when we return to Florence.

Beautiful Apartment in a quiet area

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is away from the main tourist areas and is much quieter. The apartment is very unique (for an American) Separate rooms for everything and the decor and artwork on the ceilings is amazing. Communication was limited with Simone due to language barrier but google translate worked well for us both :) He provided excellent information and was able to help us get a taxi to the airport when I was unable to get one booked. The beds were comfortable and the sofa/ chair in the living area was comfy for some lazy mornings. The apartment was clean and had most of what we needed. The kitchen could use a few more items that we are used to but it was minor - like a whisk and a spatula. Simone left us waters, juice and some wine. The cupboards had some spices and coffee and sugar. The apartment is about a 25 minute walk from the main attractions. We took a City Sightseeing tour bus that stops just a couple blocks from the apartment along with local bus service. There are some good restaurants very close but be aware they close around 2 and do not open until 7pm and are often very busy. The grocery store is a 10 minute walk away and easy to get to. There is a pharmacy a few blocks away as well. The unit does have a washer machine on the patio but it is very small for US standards. We had 10 days of laundry to do so we found a Wash & Dry about 10-15 min walk away. It was much more efficient to do laundry there. Would recommend!

We had an amazing time. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. Simone was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely responsive and helpful before and during our trip. He provided us with recommendation for a day tour in Tuscany, he arranged taxi's for our early morning pick up to the airport. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood with great restaurants and cafes close by. We were able to walk easily to Florence center. Highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay in Florence. Simone is an impeccable host and the property is simply charming, clean and well appointed. Just like the pics and description - everything was in place. We even had bottles of wine ready for us. Simone is an amazing host. Super communicative. Finally the location of the property is very strategic. Close to restaurants, quiet and near a bus stop. Delightful

This is a lovely property somewhat off the beaten path, but still within walking distance of everything you want to see. It was a pleasure to return to the quiet neighborhood and this very comfortable, spacious and well-stocked apartment after jam-packed days spent in seas of humanity. Simone is a very gracious host. He provided a list of recommended nearby restaurants (excellent) and helped us with our baggage (which was very much appreciated given the stairs!). Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment in a great area

Really spacious apartment, comfortable big beds and extra pillows and blankets in the closet. A large assortment of laundry soap and cleaning products were stocked. Extremely quiet at night, air conditioning was lifesaving in summer heat, and the fridge was stocked with a case of water bottles. Simone was wonderful, we had no water for a few hours our last night and he immediately called the city to find out why and offered to bring us bottled water at almost midnight! Only thing I'd note, one bathroom is very small, shower might be uncomfortable for a larger person.

Fabulous location in a quiet neighborhood

First, Simone was a great host! He met us at the apartment to show us around and to complete our booking paperwork. If you needed anything he was always available via WhatsApp. Not only was there wine to ease us into our vacation, but plenty of water to get us started since it was quite hot in July. The market is in walking distance, but bring your own sturdy bag if your purchasing staples for your stay. The restaurants Simone suggested we're just around the corner and wonderful! I do suggest booking in advance, we decided to wing it without reservations at Antica Porta since it was around the corner on our first night, the tables outside we're unavailable but she had a table right in the entry which was perfect and the food was great. The bus is a short walk and so easy to get to places if you have a heavy walking day planned. The only thing we could say, is that the sheets in the 2nd bedroom we're rough/stiff compared to the 1st bedroom linen. That being said, our stay here was very enjoyable and would come back again!

Simone is a great host

Place is a described listing. Location is perfect for exploring Florence --walkablw to everything we wanted to visit. Simone was very accommodating and communicative and arranged for us a taxi to get to our train station and greeted us with two bottles of wine. he have us recs for local restaurants and was very kind. There is a tax per person for Florence fyi that he needs to collect 5.50 euro per person per day. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Host

The property was as described, if not even nicer. Simone was amazing, giving us restaurant recommendations in the area. He even went out of his way helping us find somewhere to get our laundry done, as we wanted to use a dryer, since the weather was very wet and dreary during our stay. He replied to my messages instantly. He also had the best limoncello waiting for us, as well as other refreshments. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Florence.

Perfect Florence location!

We loved our stay! This is our second time and know that if we head back to Florence again, and it's available, we will try to stay here. The host is wonderful and thoughtful - making sure we knew how everything worked and setting everything up to be comfortable and accessible. The location is perfect if you're visiting Florence! Boboli garden is across the road and everything is otherwise a close walk away or there is the bus. There is even a Taxi stand a minute walk away. It's truly perfect.
