"Our stay at the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport - PHX by IHG was terrible. We were charged for parking and breakfast which we did not expect to based on our reservation and previous visits. There was construction going on in rooms around us and the water was turned off of several hours. But the worst thing was that we were embarrassingly accused of smoking, which we absolutely did not do, and charged an exorbitant fee of $250 dollars. When we talked with the staff about that they were very rude and...

"This was one of the worst stays we have had. It was expensive. The room was dated, the black out blinds did not cover all the way. The shower head was broke and we called the front desk 3x and where told maintenance would be up. After 2 hours of waiting we went to bed. The next morning we went to the front desk and where told maintenance wouldn't be in until 8a. He came to out room and fix it at least enough to use it. The hot tub was not hot, jets didnt work and the pool was very cold. "

"Amazing property and amenities! Cannot wait to come back! This property is locally owned and will work with you if you book on Expedia where many others won’t. We upgraded our room with no charge and added a night at the same rate we were charged through Expedia. This is usually unheard of. Great place! Will be back!! "

"Rooms here are always nice: comfortable beds, good space for working or relaxing, bathrooms with spacious showers. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. A few downsides were: pool was very cold, room was hot (apparently the a/c can't be turned below 68°) and the parking on site is no longer free. All this and the higher rates for the time of year made it a less desirable experience than my first time staying here."
