"A wonderful stay starting with the front desk staff who were friendly and efficient. Our room was very spacious with two king beds a small dining table and plenty of room to move around. I would suggest booking a parking space when you book your room. I highly recommend it as a place to stay!"

"This is a very central motel. We ended up with an upgrade because of a problem with the plumbing.
The room is serviced everyday, the lady that came everyday was very helpful and efficient. It had a whole kitchen to use with everything you need to make a meal.
There are some things that need some maintenance.
It is a small space between the sink, toilet and bathtub. The toilet roll holder is in an awkward place.
The shower pressure was amazing. Fabulous using the heat pump on the cold...

"The hotel staff were very helpful and responsive but stretched and had to rush between guest enquiries. The location has history of the New Zealand Airforce. Ample parking. The dampness through the old windows is offset to a certain extent by the underfloor heating in the recently renovated toilets but the corridors are cold. The common toilets downstairs were not cleaned for a couple of days after a function. There was no coffee available for a couple of days as the machine had broken down."

"It's the 3rd time I stayed in Drifter Christchurch. I had good experience in my previous stays. Unfortunately this time a room without AC/radiator was provided to me, and the basin drainage did not work in the first night. All staff there were surprised on the room without AC/radiator. They provided the heat fan to me, but it's too noisy to make a sleep. Later they changed another heat fan, a bit quiet, but still about 60 dB(A) measured with mobile APP. I cannot imagine how they performed the...

"Almost all kitchen appliances are not working properly.
This place suits guests who do not mind loud, overly active and rude teenagers who do running at the corridors, conducting loud group activities at weird time of the day.
Do not recommend.
Stayed multiple times only for the on site parking as car thefts are active and very skillful.
Receptions and staffs are mostly not helpful nor welcoming. They carry the sort of corporate attitude."

"This is a atandered hotel.
Check in staff were lovely.
Room was clean and well presented. I found it noisy I could hear the TV and the person coughing in hhd next room.
The room was light with lights turned off due to a gap around the main door allowing light in from the hallway.
We paid for the buffet breakfast, there was a good selection bit I found the food lacking something."
