"I'm not sure where my first review went. The picture of the rental is accurate however it does not depict a mattress that pretty much is on the floor. The floor is very wavy making you feel unsteady. The couch was also low and hard as a rock. The smith river behind the house is barely visibleThe worst part is the entry. Nowhere does it mention there are 18 steep steps to entry. The apt building is surrounded by a huge green construction dumpster, a church located in a modular house and active...

"We loved the cottage. It's on beautiful property. Made us feel at home. Kitchen well supplied. Because I'm in my 70's, I had a hard time figuring out where to enter the access code. My kids would have had no problems. There were a number of things near the door and it took me a while to figure it out. That's probably on me, but you could mention where to enter the code."

"We stayed an entire week in the bankers loft while in the area for the USA Cycling Mountain Bike Nationals at Explore Park. The location was perfect for accessing the Blue Ridge Parkway. The loft was exactly as advertised, very clean and well-stocked. Host was helpful and responsive. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area."
