Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. "What a great find. Cave Castle is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. I contacted the hotel a few days before with some requests regarding my wife as she has mobility issues. One was for the room to be on the ground floor or close to the lift and the other was for extra pillows as my wife has to sleep upright. The hotel has accessible rooms which complied with our specific requirements. Well designed rooms with regulation fixtures and fittings but with an old world feel. "Chech-in at the bar was simple and the room was spotlessly clean and tidy. The location was very good as it is a short distance to the city centre, hence quick to get around on foot. The on-site food and drink menu were fairly good and well worth a try. I can highly recommend the accommodation."

But our room was ready has the room early which was good The staff were friendly and the room was very clean and modern. It is close to the centre and train station so ideal.
