"We have stayed here before in 2024. The Linden Chalet is quiet, surrounded by beautiful tall oak trees and is a MUST for a chillaxing vacay. Everything we could need was there in place. I wanted for nothing! And, the host kept up with quick texts and daily checked with us to make sure we were experience a fantastic stay...and WE DID! I will certainly rent this home again. The beds are super comfortable and the sheets feel so comfy and clean. The added touches of little lamps and decor...

"The house was perfect for three adults, a toddler, and a baby. The children loved dancing within the screened in porch, and playing outside in the back yard. We saw family of deer and geese during our stay as well. All rooms were clean and the furniture was comfortable. We especially loved the stocked kitchen, and the beautiful dining table. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful property!"

"We were looking for a quiet place to get away as a family and this property did not disappoint. It was a nice, clean and comfortable home. We enjoyed grilling, relaxing around the fire pit and on the porch, and going for walks around the property. It’s out in the country so there’s privacy and quiet but it’s also so close enough to town if you’re looking for things to do. Also close to Cacapon State Park! We would definitely go back. "

"We had a great stay overall and really enjoyed our vacation. The place was clean,cool and comfortable, and a nice spot to relax.There were just a few minor issues. The grass could have been mowed before our arrival, which would have made the outdoor area more enjoyable. We also weren't able to use the hot tub for the first 24 hours, which was a little disappointing. The shower head didn't work quite as intended, although that may have been due to low water pressure rather than the shower...

"I really can't rave enough about the stay we had at this beautiful mountain haven! We were here on a 3-generation family vacation - my father in law has great interest in Civil War history and this home was perfectly situated to get to many sites easily. We all loved this house! Secluded, quiet, peaceful with gorgeous natural surroundings. We were seriously obsessed with the design and decor inside. Everyone thought the beds were amazingly comfortable. The kitchen is AWESOME and fully stocked....

"The entire property was great, the house was clean and well-maintained! The kitchen had virtually everything, and all was labeled, so it was easy to find what we were looking for. This is not a complaint since it is nature ;) But there was a bit of sap on the deck and patio furniture (it was from the nearby tulip poplar), which we easily cleaned off with the Clorox cleaning spray from under the sink and paper towels, so don't panic if you have the same!
