"A truly beautiful and relaxing stay from start to finish. Check-in was seamless and welcoming, setting the tone for a wonderful experience. The sauna was absolutely stunning—floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking a softly snow-covered field created such a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. "The advertising was misleading as we spent extra so we could have a hot tub, it was cold and dirty. There is no one on site so I emailed to see if they could fix it but no one replied. The rooms were fine and clean and the location was remote and pretty. Breakfast was ok, but only a couple hot items that were almost cold."

"Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Es war sauber, die Zimmer waren groß und geräumig und das Frühstücksbuffet war top. Es war alles vorhanden was man für ein gutes Frühstück benötigt. Von Aufschnitt, über warme Speisen, Obst bis hin zu Kuchen. Ein Kaffevollautomat und viele verschiedene Säfte. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Ich kann das Hotel wirklich guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen."

"This is a great little place to stay and not have to travel to see the northern lights. I stayed in one of the bungalows (the called it the chicken houses). Stay was comfortable, it is a small space so a bit crowded and the ceilings were short and sloped in so it made taking a shower a little challenging but still doable. The only turnoff for me was the sink was leaking from the drain pipe as well as one of the water lines going into the sink and the staff's response was to bring me towels....

"So hotel is not bad. Roughly 17 kilometers away from a town where you can find food and restaurants. Just because far away everywhere and dark outside., so we luckily from the front of the hotel,we can see the northern lights."

"Great Hotel right in the Skogafoss front yard. Get up early and you can have the falls to yourself. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean room. Expensive restaurant (Iceland, middle of nowhere pricing). Tip: check in before going to the falls, and you won't have to pay the parking fee (get validated), since they share the same lot. Staff are nice and hardworking."

"What an interesting stay. We loved it. We stayed in the haytower. The place was so cool. They created a wonderful lodging out of an old building that in the late 30’s housed farm animals and upstairs kept hay for the livestock. It now has all the conveniences of home with kitchen,washer dryer, dishwasher,fridge,microwave, large tv. Upstairs has 2 twins with views of a waterfall as well as the coastline on the opposite side. Roomy shower. Fun stay. We could have stayed a week or more. Did not get...
