"We rented this house for a hiking vacation. It was a beautiful house just minutes from Old Rag and other hiking trails in the Shenandoahs. The National Park entrance was about a 20 minute drive. Nice deck overlooking farmlands and hills. Well appointed rooms, well-equipped kitchen. The host was really nice and helpful. Hope to be back there soon."

"This is our second stay at Spirit Dancer and I can't recommend it enough! We come up for the hiking (old Rag, White Oak Canyon) and the mountains but we're also finding it hard to leave the property!! The setting feels so private and remote though you're just not far from restaurants and other activities. It has a lovely rustic feel BUT is very luxurious! We loved the foosball and air hockey, coffee on the back deck, dinner prep in the large and well stocked kitchen and the comfy beds. The ease...

"I can't say enough about the wonderful communication and helpfulness of Ann. The home is remote and so quiet yet a short drive from a few hikes and wineries. It was a drive to SNP or the AT but worth doing. The house had everything we needed and we had a great stay."
