"It was expensive for the overall appearance. There are few hotels in the area and it was summer so I assume that is the reason for the price. There were odd smells throughout the property including a strong lemon cleaning smell in the room and the smell of a near by landfill outside. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It should invest in a nice patio in the front since it has a pretty view."

"We had a wonderful stay at Phoenicia Lodge. We stayed for two nights and went hiking in the surrounding area. The lodge is in a great location—ideal if you have a car (we didn’t, but we managed just fine). Sandra was a huge help, and the welcome was fantastic. She always gave great advice and really takes good care of her guests. I highly recommend Phoenicia Lodge."

Terrible night Great AC Breakfast was ok, I love the waffle Coffee is horrible Cleaning of the tables was made in front of me and she did not use any cleaning products, juste the same wet shrug used all over the place. "Very calm, nicely priced place. Very rural, so in my big city opinion it’s more like a place to stay the night and relax indoors or on the little porch/balcony area. Staff is prompt and communicative. Right by the highway. Nearest bigger town (Binghamton) and nearest activities (parks and rivers) are all about a 20min drive away. The place has a TV, mini fridge, stuff like that."

"There was no phone, even to the front desk. TheDirectv was horrible. Bath/shower plumbing was difficult to deal with. Was not informed a new roof was going to be installed in the morning. Pounding early in the morning about gave me a heart attack!!"
