"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am"

It’s a great little hotel with everything you need - spacious boot and ski room, free lockers, day room, lounge with fire and free marshmallows for toasting every day, washing machines and tumble dryers, onsen, restaurant, wine and beer and an illy coffee machine. But most importantly the staff are lovely particularly Aki the manager and it is sooo close to the main Tagamaghara lift. One of the best ski holidays we’ve had. The decor is a little dated but...

"I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area.
Other than the location, all staff are very polite, patient and helpful. Some of the staff are able to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently.

Independientemente de eso, todo el personal fue súper amable, unos hablaban más inglés q otros pero fueron muy pacientes con nuestro poco japonés y nos enseñaron nuevas palabras. Fue un fin de semana de castañas, relax y snow monkeys :)"

"The servuce was 1st class from the first moment till the end. This was a highlight to our monthlong trip. Such pride in proving excellent everything. The half board option is so worth it. "Ótimo hotel. Bem típico da cultura japonesa, com senhoras que só falam japones. Tem transporte da estação de trem de ida e volta para o hotel. Ao chegar no hotel, eles disponibilizam roupas típicas da cultura japonesa para serem usadas durante a estadia, que achamos bem legal. A comida é típica japonesa. Everything is good, just a very little thing: moved luggages by hand to room at 2nd floor. To me as a hushand and a daddy, it meant luggages of 3 persons I moved. "

The personelle were super nice and helpful. They provided a free bus ride to the snow monkey park.
The room was spacious and comfy. The hotel dinner and breakfast were amazing. Highly recommend the dinner.
The onsen was really hot which took some time getting used to but I think that’s part of the experience.

"Se nota que es un resort en horas bajas. Las instalaciones necesitan renovarse. Le falta bastante limpieza. No hay champú ni gel de baño en el baño de la habitación; sólo hay en los baños públicos del mismo hotel.
No puedo opinar sobre la comida. El almuerzo es bastante típico japonés. Es buffet pero poca cantidad. Si no bajas a almorzar a primera hora encuentras pocas cosas para escoger.
Tiene un bus que te lleva al centro de Yubatake y que pasa cada hora. El primer bus sale a las 8:00 de la mañana. El último bus del día sale alas 18:50 del hotel y te recoge a las 19:00 en Yubatake. Más tarde de esta hora hay que hacer el camino a pie, aunque no está lejos de Yubatake."
