Great house!

We had a lovely stay at Abingdon House. The house itself had everything that we needed and we loved sitting outside and watching the kids run around. They also enjoyed the heated spa (and a few jumped in the pool in the July weather)! Thanks for a great stay!

Best farmhouse stay

Everything was perfect, outdoor pool and spa was nice, I loved the layout of the house, open kitchen, dining and living. Beds were comfy and enough bathrooms for large families.

We had the most beautiful stay. House and property are just outstanding pool and spa wonderful kids loved swimming for hours. Everything so clean and well equipped. We will stay again highly recommend to stay at Abingdon. Owners, manger and cleaner are wonderful. Thank you for making our stay so amazing.

Perfect family get away home.

Beautiful, well-appointed home that was super clean. Gorgeous vista from every window. Despite unbelievably wet weather we were dry, warm and comfortable. Highly recommend and will definitely be rebooking so that we can enjoy the pool, spa and outdoor facilities.

Magic Spot

Abingdon House is a wonderful place to stay for a country retreat. The location is very convenient for access to the town of Mudgee, as well as the cellar doors, Braeside is in walking distance. The views from the verandah are spectacular and the sunsets are magic to watch from the spa. The house was very comfortable for our family, it was easy to share and prepare meals to enjoy together both inside and out, as well as find space away from everyone.

Can't Wait to Go Back

We had the best time! Abingdon House was the perfect house to come back to after venturing out for the day. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary cookware, the grounds and views were beautiful, the firepit a huge bonus, the outdoor lounge so cozy, the beds of great quality, and the indoor lounges the perfect place to snuggle in and read a book. The owners were incredibly timely in response to questions we had while staying. We couldn't recommend the property enough!

Abingdon Amazing !

Loved our stay at Abingdon house. House was beautiful and clean and rooms were big and comfortable Had an unfortunate issue with the microwave which was attended to straight away Dell was lovely and very helpful and thanks to Cam and Tasch for having us stay in their beautiful home x

A wonderful property to spend time in and just relax

Spent the weekend together at Abingdon House with a group of friends. It is a perfect place to just relax and take in the wonderful hillside views. Cam and Tasch were helpful throughout. They quickly responded to our questions prior to arrival and accommodated our requests. The property has been carefully thought through in terms of all the little details. A basket of blankets so we could enjoy the cooler evenings as an example. The property has a great kitchen for entertaining and we ate at Abindgon House for all meals whilst enjoying cheese and wine purchased from the local vineyards and suppliers. Staring at the blanket of stars in the night sky whilst chit chatting in the spa was a highlight. We’d love to return at some point and I whole heartedly recommend this property. It’s quiet, peaceful and Mudgee is always a delight for a long weekend getaway. Thank you.

This property was amazing. Bedrooms weren’t on top of each other. The kitchen dining & lounge room are one big room so you can still interact with everyone. Everything about this property inside & out was simply stunning.

Had a great weekend. Mudgee is a great place to visit and staying at Abingdon topped it off. Scenery is lovely and the fireplace was so relaxing. Would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the pool and spa.

A beautiful property with lots of living and outdoor space for a large group with an en-suite for every bedroom. The location was perfect, a country setting within an easy drive of Mudgee’s wine district and town.

Perfect family holiday house

Abingdon House had everything we needed, facilities were great, stylish decor a really helpful guest manual which offered local advice and recommendations. We visited Thistle Hill and Burnbrae Wineries just down the road, and Blacklea for olive oils where Gai conducted great tasting.

Beautiful location and gorgeous house

It was a beautiful home in a gorgeous location. We enjoyed the facilities very much. It would have been great to have more crockery and cutlery in the kitchen and towels for the spa to make the stay more enjoyable. But otherwise it was perfect. Thank you.
