"The location was great for it's proximity to Whakapapa ski field, apart from the trains it was a quiet neighbourhood, with a playground nearby, and plenty of room inside.Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property let it down, it felt like it could do with a deep clean throughout the house. The dishwasher had a funny smell, there was human hair in the dishbrush (we went and bought our own for the trip), hair and other debris in the cutlery drawer and all the tea towels were smelly and dirty...

This is, without question, the most unhygienic and poorly maintained place we have ever stayed. A COMPLETE SCAM : After a single night, the host filed a completely false damage claim against us. We left the property exactly as we found it, yet they pursued charges with zero evidence. The host never responded, and both Expedia and Vrbo offered no meaningful support, leaving us...
