The whole truth

This house has a really big swimming pool but the fountain doesn’t work. It’s so close to the beach. You can literally run back-and-forth all day.!!! Does anything else really matter? I would rent it again for these reasons! House is set at 85 when no one staying there, so it smells musty. We just re-wash the bedding and the blankets. The beds are not comfortable. I slept outside on the pool sofa! The house is casually decorated, which I prefer so I’m not chasing after the children to be so careful. There was a junior size, baby bed, and a pack and play. Two kayaks in the garage. Not sure if they’re supposed to be used, we didn’t use them. There was only three beach chairs we added two more and two umbrellas. Nice size kitchen well equipped! Refrigerator has icemaker there is a griddle and a blender and most kitchen utensils plenty of dishes and glasses. had blow dryer’s,curling irons, radio, two TVs, and a very private pool area. Plan on getting your own paper products and dish soap and garbage bags . House was clean and very very quiet neighborhood! Definitely would rent the house again just for the location and the huge swimming pool! Great size rooms and nice bathrooms! Loved the huge washer, extra mini refrigerator ,one extra fan, some games, puzzles, some pool toys(we left like ten) and the outdoor furniture and grill! Walmart is 6 minutes for needs! So don’t sweat the small stuff you will love the house size, the location, and the POOL ! No one wanted to leave!

Southern Florida Vacation

We were very pleased with our experience! Fantastic location, so close to the beach and restaurants. The home was very well stocked, had plenty of laundry and dishwasher detergent, high quality cookware, and ample dishes for our group. The pool was very nice, and had comfy deck furniture that was used daily. We would rent this home again!

So much potential but so much missing.

The house is located at the end of an unpaved road sitting on a half acre of overgrown tropical underbrush. It’s location is a short ride from the beach but not at the beach. It’s better than spending weeks crammed into a hotel room but as far as a VRBO home it has been neglected. When we first arrived, the garage was scattered with boxes and packaging from house hold items and work that was recently done to this house or any one of the other houses managed by the property company. The Welcome book was obviously not unique to this house as it warned of not allowing topless bathing and how to use the garbage disposal. Neither of which were happening here. Necessary information like trash removal or laundering instructions were omitted. The carpets are likely original from when the house was built and smell like it. All of the smoke extinguishers were missing batteries. The ceiling fans were rusted and covered in black mold. There are no spices or common cooking items in the house. No paper towels, dish detergent or toilet paper provided. There is a clutter of culinary oddities and dull knives in the kitchen. The stove is worn and scorched but that matched the condition of the pots that are scratched and worn. The bedrooms are decently appointed and decorated in a cute dated kind of way. The washer and dryer were older then the house and screamed the entire time and barely have enough room to wash a few garments at a time. Overall it’s dated, dirty, and nothing special. It’s a solid 3 out of 5.

Great property Great location

Lesley was a great host she let us check-in early after our flight became a redeye. The property was nice and we were only 1/2 mile from Manasota Beach. Nice quiet beach with restrooms and showers. No spring breakers; just families and couples. I highly recommend this property

First try as a snow bird

This house was a convenient location to beach access and quiet setting. Comfortable and private. Could have been cleaner, and updated in furniture and decor- some things like the towels, etc could have been newer- but overall we loved our stay and would repeat it in the future.

Great place!

We really enjoyed the house! It is very spacious, great location (close to the beach), and the pool was wonderful. The pool is heated and very big. We had a great time! The house was well stocked with a full kitchen which was great for cooking for a big family. There’s an awesome grill outside to use too. Will definitely look to stay here again!
