Since we live and work in Madison, Wisconsin, it's no surprise why we absolutely love our island getaway! John is an avid fisherman, and I aspire to be a beach bum—so we adore that our home has deeded access to the Gulf. Already booked again for next year!

We were the first group in the house since hurricane repairs had been completed. Everything was new and quality wasn't sacrificed to get it back on the market fast. Great beds and furniture, well-supplied kitchen (and we cook on vacation), great pool area. And 100 yds. down the private road is the beach--3 miles of private access only perfect Florida gulf beach full of megalodon teeth and shells. Absolutely perfect. We've rented quite a few great VRBOs over the years, always said we'd be back--but this is the first we've actuallyvrebooked. It's a treasure.

Cadillac price and Chevy performance

We were disappointed. Granted that the heat didn’t help the situation. We paid double what we usually pay in Siesta Key for a place much nicer than this place. The lock box fell of the wall outside. We could not unlock the front door with the code. Television only gave us three channels when it worked. The kitchen had small bugs that shocked me as they came out of the toaster. The pool was extremely small and the beach was dangerous. I went into the water and sank down to my knees. I had great difficulty getting out. My husband also had difficulty getting out. Luckily someone helped him out. This place should not be advertised for older people. The sunroom door would not open to the outside. It took us two days to find the locked grandparent’s bedroom. The main shower leaves a lot to be desired. Very little flow. The living room was nicely decorated, but for $5,000 for the week we expected more. We would like to discuss this further with you. AMAZING!!

Just what we wanted for our family!! Pool fence for little ones and perfect for indoor and outdoor fun. Easy walk to beach. We couldn't be happier about our stay! Definitely hope to stay there a few times a year!

Perfect getaway!

This property was so clean and the location was perfect! A very short walk to a beautiful private beach - plenty of beach chairs and towels were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub also. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Yes! Peaceful Sol!

We absolutely loved the place! Perfect for all ages, especially small children. Very kid friendly and safe. We loved the Grandparent casita, our very own room. Short walk to the beach was amazing as was the private beach! Pool was perfect. House had everything we needed for food and fun. Thank you for sharing. Would love to come back!

Wonderful

Quiet beach. Lots of shark teeth and wildlife. Just a short walk to the water. This house had about everything a family could need or want for a week or more on the beach. The entire area is very lovely. I'm glad we finally got a chance to check it out.

It was our 2nd yr here...we love it! It is like home away from home and then some! The location is perfect and the pool and hot tub just adds to the experience. Beautiful home close to the beach

Our family spent Christmas at the beach in this lovely, well-equipped house. Our kids loved the pool, and we all loved the quiet neighborhood close to the beach. The house had everything we needed (pool toys, beach chairs, kitchen supplies) for a peaceful getaway with our family.

Loved our vacation rental

The home was beautiful, clean, and perfectly close to the beach. The beach was perfect for us and our little ones-- shallow clear water, not crowded at all (it felt like we had the beach to ourselves), and the kids spent the whole time snorkeling and collecting shark teeth and seashells. The pool was great and felt safe with the enclosure, which was easily removable if needed. Our kids spent the whole time in the water. We loved the two spaces to eat together, indoor and out. Everyone in our family loved the space, the decor, and the opportunity to spend time altogether. Englewood is a quiet town and we felt like we could just relax and have a super laid back vacation. Thank you also to the rental managers for making everything so easy for us and answering our questions promptly. We hope to stay again soon.

Extended family get away

Our stay at "Peaceful Sol" was exactly that! Was able to stroll 2 minutes to the beach every night to catch the sun set. Private beach was never crowded, was great for kids to play, launch a kayak for a float. Great time hunting for shells and sharks teeth. Home was cool and refreshing with dips in the pool.

Love this location!

We have been to this location multiple years and always impressed by the cleanliness and updates made. The property is always clean, maintained, and fully stocked with all the essentials to get us started. The owners are incredibly kind and courteous. This property was even better than the great pictures the posting provided. Very spacious and the pool was a big hit. The property manager was responsive when we had questions and the garage housed lots of toys for the grandkids. Very short walk to the beach!

Perfect for Family and Always Clean

This was our second time staying here and we could easily tell that this property is loved and taken care of. Since our first stay they made many upgrades. This place is perfect if you have small children. There is a pool gate for safety and it's also a very short walk to the beach. We love it here and will continue to stay here when we are visiting the area!

Couldn’t be better!

This is probably the nicest home we’ve ever rented on VRBO. Spotlessly clean. Super nice rooms, beds, decorations. And the pool was the favorite for most of us. Can’t beat this place!

Little Piece of Heaven

This spot is heaven on earth. Steps from the most quiet and beautiful beach, with the most out of the world shells! The pool is perfect and so beautiful to look at! This is a beautiful property in a quiet and peaceful location. House was very clean and had all the beach/pool items you might possibly need. Property management company was very responsive to any inquiries we had prior to and during our stay. Highly recommend this property!
