"Great location, vibe and breakfast"

"Older, outdated hotel, though the floor had just been redone. Terrible mattresses. Heat/AC sounded like a B2 bomber. Toilet lid couldn't open all the way because of recently installed counter behind it. Had to maneuver under said counter to flush the top-mounted flush buttons on the toilet. Family suite provided plenty of space, and we had a good time playing cards on the 6-person dining table, but make sure you call the front desk to book a suite away from Grand Avenue. "I was very impressed by the updates to the property. The room was very clean and up to date. However I was disappointed that there was only 1 tv in the unit which did not allow to watch television while in bed. And the a/c unit was a window unit located in the bedroom which you had to make sure the adjoining doors were open to allow cool air to flow into the main living room."

"I am glad I chose this hotel because it was much quieter and away from the highway compared to most other options. Plus the historical feel and all the trees added to the ambiance. The staff were super helpful and accommodating by helping me print a resume and with check in. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated."

"Like most motel or hotels they are next to busy highways, and if you get a room facing the highway you get noise. Lucky for us the air conditioning drowned out the traffic noise."
