"Room was tidy but a bit worn in places, shower wasn’t very warm, property itself was a bit run down, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes on entry and through out the hotel, room was fresh though But the staff were lovely, breakfast was brilliant, out the way off the main road and quiet at night bed was very comfy! Stayed for a wedding reception, the event room was really nicely decorated and spacious! Bar a bit pricey though £5 pint of coke! "

"I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it for its reasonable price but it far exceeded expectations. We were visiting family in chester over Christmas, and there were no hotels available in the city centre, although this was a little far out the drive was very easy and quick parking was good and the hotel was clean and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others."

"Ideally situated for us to get to the main attractions near by. Plenty of car parking spaces. Reception very helpful. My room was very spacious bed a bit on the hard side but there’s nothing like your own bed. Bathroom en-suite and both were immaculately clean. We ate at the hotel and that was also of a good standard. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"I went to have a wash and brush my teeth at about 1 a.m as didn’t arrive until late I’d filled the sink but water was too cold pulled the plug and went into the room to do something whilst it emptied upon returning to the bathroom the floor was covered in water but they couldn’t swap us rooms so we had no way of having a wash or brushing teeth etc as couldn’t use the sink so had to going the public toilet before leaving to brush teeth."

"Parking was very easy and staff were amazing. Only thing I would comment on is the room we were in was looking a bit tired and was in need of a deep clean a lot of dust in higher up places and the breakfast should have more options."
