"The room appeared clean but your feet turn black from the carpet. The chain lock on the door was broken. There seem to be full time residents living there as well. This is a place to book if you have low expectations and don’t mind the dated vibe. Pool was crystal clear and well maintained."

A/C worked great, the sink/vanity area is not in the bathroom, the mirror has those amazing lights that allow you to see yourself in a natural light instead of the artificial lighting. "Sandwich was left in our fridge. Breakfast was sparse. Baked goods stale. Served our purpose of getting rest before heading to the beach. Close to the outlet mall."

"Stayed here because there wasn't anywhere else to stay in town. The room, however, smelled strongly of cigarettes and had several burns in the comforter. The very kind gentleman at the front desk would have switched us to a different room, but they were completely full. Haven't stayed in a Super 8 in decades, so I think I will skip it next time."

"We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn."
