"It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. When I was there there's was lots of construction; and there's also plenty of "banging" noise, which I think comes from something that falls out of the trees onto the tin roof of the rooms; that could be a...

"Really excellent little hotel, top level rooms, staff, pool and beach access. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend. Not much to do activities-wise so bring a book and plan to just chill. Loved it, will be back."
