"Perfect location between Barter Book and the Playhouse with bus stop right outside. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nice patio outside to enjoy summer evenings. Not fancy, but if your tastes are simple and you want an affordable base from which to explore the area, this is the place for you. "

"It's a lovely hotel, delightful staff and service. It would be so much better if they provided clothes storage in the bedroom - other than hanging space, there was nowhere to put other clothing, and this meant that for four nights we had to live out of suitcases. "

"Really nice welcome at check in. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff and service in the bar, casual dining and at breakfast were all good. Lovely food in the casual dining area. The only things we could fault were a loose toilet seat and the flush was difficult to use. The bathroom window didn’t open so everything in there was wet with steam the whole time "

"We stayed on Friday in the till room , myself hubby and daughter we had a pleasant stay the room was perfect , a lucky find for us ,the customer service recieved was outstanding staff pleasant and approachable , compliment's also to the chef for a lovely breakfast also , no complaints ,we hope to return soon . Highly recommend everyone to visit who’s looking for a relaxing break ."
