"Clean room and very friendly staff"

"Good hotel overall. Has complimentary water and juice in breakfast room. Parking is not included in room fee. If you do not use room service you can tell staff in advance and save $10 per day. In walking distance to many downtown tourist attractions, restaurant."

"I had a great time staying at the Byward Inn. The rooms are very nice and clean. Everything needed are in the room. And I like the complementary water in the fridge. Also, another best part of the stay is that breakfast are included in the mornings. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, Byward Inn is right in the center of Downtown Ottawa. I give them 💯"

"The Metcalfe Hotel was better than we imagined. The staff (from check-in desk to housekeeping to wait staff) were lovely and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure our pups also enjoyed their stay. So thankful to have a hotel that offers such care for their guests and their guests' dogs!"

"I had a spectacular room with a massive tub in a separate room! Cute and cozy fireplace and a nice work space. I’ve never been so excited to return from my events to enjoy time solo. Staff were incredible. Thank you so much for the amazing upgrade, for lending me a charger and for storing my luggage. Swiss Hotel is close to so much in Ottawa; walking distance to Rideau Centre & Byward Market. I’ll be back for sure!"

"We were promised a late check out and on the last day we were told to leave on time. Not helpful in the circumstances."

"The construction didnt help but nothing was mentioned about 1. wifi access 2. new elevator system 3. room was ok .. shower older and toilet seat was broken.. we got into room late after going to casino so it was pointless telling everyone at 11 pm expensive for a property under construction"

"As with all Alt hotels, very convenient to have the cafe/snacks in the lobby and nespresso in the room. This specific location is in an older building- bit dark with some shower plumbing issues. Some rooms have no view other than a cement wall but this is not mentioned in the room description when booking so of important to you consider the category of room booked. Overall clean and fine for a quick business stay"

"Overall a good stay. The room was clean and the staff were nice and helpful when asked. Good location, right across from Byward and downtown. There's construction next door but they can't control it. They provided ear plugs beside the bed which was a nice touch. But just be warned, construction started as early as 630am so if you wanted to sleep in, you won't."
