"Room was larger than I expected. We utilized the shuttle to go to and from the airport and it was very quick and easy. Breakfast was a standard hotel buffet, but no complaints. The breakfast room was spacious and clean. I would stay here again. "

"We were there for the bike ride. They were very cool about letting us keep our bikes In the room and the lobby until our room was ready. Didn’t understand the room lights at all! They were either all off or all all on. Staff was very friendly. One could hear the subway underneath the hotel which was interesting. I only know as I am a light sleeper. You have to love NY, noise 24/7 "

"The room was a good size with a nice bathroom - all very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good but the restaurant is fairly small and so it can get very busy. Staff were very helpful and made me feel very welcome. The only slight issue was with the lift - it’s a fairly busy hotel with 40+ floors and just 3 lifts. This did mean a fair amount of waiting on lifts but I guess it can’t be helped given the size of the building. All in all - a good stay. Would recommend."

I selected a room with a city view on Expedia, but it's a side view only because the One New York Plaza building is right in front of the hotel. "The rooms have high ceilings that echo all the noises. The lighting in the room is really poor despite controls for fancy ambience settings. Our room was super cold, and the thermostat did not seem to work. There was a tower heater, so I guess someone before us had already complained... There is no coffee maker in the room, but they brought us one when we asked. The bathroom sink is fancy, but the spout is so close to the rim that it is challenging even to wash hands. "Best room when you arent planning to stay inside most of your stay. The bed was super comfy. They give you a white noise machine which helped me a lot since I cant stand sleeping in silence. The only issue was the long check in— not the staff member’s fault. Super close to the subway."

"Stay away! Booked a room for 1 night. Only considered this place because they advertised having a free shuttle. Guess what? Upon my arrival they told me that there was NO SHUTTLE. It turned out that the place also does not have hot water, is dirty, smells like an ashtray, and has tenants yelling at each other all night long discussing their domestic disputes and failed drug deals. Horrible place to stay!"
