"The rooms look dirty, the walls are missing paint and trim. When I was checking the bed for cleanliness I found a blood stain on the mattress cover, which the staff tried to pass off as a coffee stain. I wouldn’t walk on the floors barefoot they were sticky. The floors creak really bad so at 5am we were awake listening to the people upstairs walk back and forth for over and hour. The main areas look clean and the pool looked like it might be okay."

"The staff was really nice but the hotel was old and worn down. Bedspread were dirty with stains and bleach stains. Towels and linens were so strong with bleach smells it was hard to breathe. It was in a great location but the room was hot even with cooler. It kept turning off. No elevator or pool/jaccuzzi."

"This is an amazing place and also is heavily under construction, so it doesn’t have a nice landscape feel (yet). The various hot spring fed pools are wonderful and well worth the stay. The adjacent crater is a fabulous natural feature, but we were not sure it was worth the money for the one hour swim given how small the swimming area is and that you do it in a timed group."

"I stayed here last year, and I feel the hotel has not kept up with upkeep of the hotel. The shower's have no water pressure and the shower drains were clogged. They used to always have filtered cold water near the front entrance and now we are directed to a water fountain that was covered in coffee. The breakfast was about the same as before, there was eggs, sausages, make your own waffles, breads, and sugary cereals.
