"Ideal location for visiting the new forest with our dog, it’s a very dog friendly hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was really tasty and a great choice. We didn’t have the best view but would definitely return in the future. "

"So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical. Definitely worth an annual visit "

"We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). The room was spacious but it’s old fashioned and didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Disappointing."

"I returned from a cruise and stayed for one night. The Hotel was lovely as always when we stay in a Holiday Inn nly downside was I had a late check out for 12 noon and after a problem with the eft me leaving my room with my hair wet"
