"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for."

Booked last minute for a work stay
Wasn’t going to be able to get there til late but had to rush to get there as check In closed at 8.30
Upon arriving was told that food would stop being served by 8.30 leaving next to no time to order dinner
Unfortunately despite dinner being included in my Expedia booking, I was advised it was room only, but that it would be honoured which is nice, but unfortunately it was starting at 8am which meant I could not...

"There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking .
Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?"

"Excellent, the little arrival chocolates are Devine & a lovely touch. As is the welcome postcard.
It’s these little things that make it a home from home, lovely beds, great food - nespresso machine & illy coffee.
Pure class, highly recommend.
I never give 5 stars, but here we are.
Staff were superb on arrival, helped settle me in & made to feel welcome."

Unfortunately, the welcome and interaction from the manager on duty when we arrived after a wedding nearby wasn’t the greatest. We had checked prior about check in times and were told it was 24 hours, so wasn’t expecting the resistance we got when we arrived. "The room was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately, my stay didn't meet expectations. The primary reason I chose this hotel over others in town was the spa, and I was quite disappointed to find that it was inaccessible to hotel guests. It proved very difficult to book either online or in person throughout my entire visit. Given that the location is a bit further out from the city center, the inability to use the spa facilities significantly impacted the value of my stay. I hope the hotel...
