"Nice and clean, well decorated but small. Very noisy road, and very hot throughout our stay. As the inside temperature never dropped below 24 degrees (19th to 24th June), we tried to leave bedroom windows open at night, but only did so for an hour on the first night, as there is so much traffic for most of the night, roaring up and down, so not had a lot of sleep. Took coffee bags with us as no coffee maker, as per previous reviews. Power shower was pretty weak but sufficed. Very small...

"Generally good, clean & well equipped. We did have problems with the shower which would only maintain temperature for approx 1 min & then would turn freezing cold. The only way to reset it was to turn it off & back on again for another 1 minute warm shower. Otherwise a nice property with comfy sofas & good value for money. "

"We had a lovely time at this property, ideally located - just minutes to the beach or the town with off road parking. Easy check in. Area was quiet,the house had lovely views of the sea. "We stayed for four nights this November and didn’t want to leave! We were celebrating a 30th birthday and made the most of everything- the marvellous garden, the top of the range hot tub, the BBQ and of course the surrounding salt marsh area, taking out the kayak and bird watching. The resident tawny owl made sitting out watching the stars a must too. Our host Patrick was very friendly and communicative making booking and organisation easy. The local amenities, Red Lion pub and Stiffkey stores...

"When I booked the apartment I chose the one with a sea view however on arrival our accom was at the rear of the building. That said it did not detract from our stay. Would have liked some instruction booklets for the central heating and appliances but we muddled through. Also some brochures for attractions in the are would have been helpful. All in all we had a great time and we would book the Burlington again. "
