A beautiful home, fabulous host and a great room. 10 mins drive to North Walsham for parkrun, 5 mins drive to the beach and a few minutes walk to a great cafe.

We were welcome by the host a very nice and helpful lady, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable, i woukd highly recommend and will be staying there again

Clean, fresh and welcoming. Home from home.

Beautiful property and Hazel the owner even though we didn’t meet trusted us in her home and allowed us to sit in the lounge. A lovely stay. Highly recommend.

Nice bed was very comfortable and lovely place to stay . Had late check out also and nice breakfast at watsons . Now off to Morston quay see the seals . Perfect stay .

Beautifully kept house with everything you need for a quiet time away. Car is advisable as no buses at the weekend but has plenty of nice walks. Host very friendly and informative of area and local places to eat, would definitely use again

Firstly, I’m not one to leave a review normally.. so that says everything already. But i believe this place deserves, warrants, needs and is getting one. The place itself, beautiful, clean, spacious , cosy, comfortable, inviting, memorable.. I could go on and on. I am still so happy I choose it and I will never feel the need to try and better Olde Hall. It’s everything and more, and for the price it’s mind blowing. Hazel…. From the moment on arrival.., inviting, happy, helpful, comforting, considerate, available if needed, hard working, takes pride in her home. Hazel basically made it feel like it was my home while she tip toed around us which was unneeded but very very nice and unusual to see. I couldn’t say a bad word about either Olde Hall or Hazel herself. It’s was a pleasure to stay there and also meet Hazel. I want to say thank you once again.. and continue doing exactly what you’re doing. Olde hall will see me again… And to who ever is reading this Trust in this review… you won’t be disappointed! It’s a GEM, all round!

Communication with the host, Hazel, was excellent and she went out of her way to make sure everything was satisfactory, to the point of offering me a partial refund for my stay for the behaviour of other guests, which was not her fault. The property is well maintained and very clean.

Excellent Stay

Host was most helpful and accommodating. The room had excellent facilities, especially the shower. Only one gripe was the firm mattress which is probably good for most people but not what I'm used to. The location was excellent and central to some m ce walks and places to eat.

Booked last minute for a 1 night stay. Room was lovely and clean. Hazel the host was lovely so welcoming and gave us lot of recommendations for food in the local area. Guest house is not fully in use at the moment but that was fine with us as it was super quiet. 8 minute drive to Mundesley. Our only con was there wasn’t any power to the shower. I would stay again.

Stayed at Olde Hall and had no issues. Lovely place. It is an old building which means there are creaky floorboards, meaning we could hear people walking about upstairs in the night, and there is a damp smell unless the window is open, but otherwise loved it. Loved the cat, she was playful and fluffy, loved Hazel the owner, she was super helpful, loved the bedroom layout, very convenient and how easy it was to get to. Only thing I'd suggest for the future would be to have access to a fridge and drinking water. A squiggee in the bathroom would help reduce the condensation buildup.

A bit strange. The room downstairs was off the lounge which was used by the owner so we could hear her conversation with somebody else in the evening.Not particularly private therefore. The upstairs rooms would have the same issue since the lounge area is open to the higher floor. Lack of carpeting didn’t make it especially cosy or quiet.

Lovely place. A little creaky but it is an old building. The host was so welcoming and really made our stay. Could get in touch with her so easily! Made all of the difference!

Property was very nice, I booked a room with a shower but we were given a room without one, also advertised as bed and breakfast but no breakfast. We were told to go across the road for breakfast which we had to pay for. So that made the visit expensive. Overall a lovely place but won’t be going back.

Excellent hosting, we were made to feel very welcome and all our needs catered for, with extra care in consideration of covid-safe protocols. The property was spotlessly clean, with free on-site parking, and within walking distance of a quiet sandy beach, local pub and several cafes and take-aways.
