"A beautiful property, tastefully decorated, clean and everything you need for a getaway. Had a "girls" retreat! A little shopping across the river in LeClaire. Some eating out. Lots of snacking. Well equiped kitchen. Plenty of towels. Wonderful!"

"We came from Eastern NC for our daughter’s high school graduation. The house was centrally located and easy to get to. It was clean and comfortable. The stairs to the room upstairs are very small/steep…so be careful maneuvering them! But, all in all, a great stay!!"

"There was nothing that I can think of that we needed while there except maybe a spider detector. This place couldn’t have been more conducive to our needs. The nearby park was beautiful to walk to. There are plenty of churches to choose from. We felt very relaxed and at home. The only thing that creeped me out was the big spider in my bed and one in the shower the next morning. Both of which were obliterated. Thanks!"

"Celebrated 50 years married with family here. Spacious accommodations, nice scenery, fun game room. A place for everyone to sleep, nice and ample dining areas, plenty of room in the kitchen. Kitchen was missing some everyday items like pot holders and a colander. Went and purchased what we needed and added to inventory. Such a minor negative for all the great times we had in this house. Family time is the best time. Thanks."

We had family from CA, TX, ND, and FL all meet up in IA for a family Celebration of Life. 9 adults total, and with three separate gathering areas, plenty of space to spread out. What I got was nesting eagles in the tree out my window, a nightly roaring fire with ample wood supply, super responsive host, welcome wine and snacks, comfortable beds and high end baths, white linens and privacy. If you don’t mind steps to enter the home, and some personal touches throughout (books, candles, travel trinkets, mugs, condiments, kid fun) you will enjoy your stay very much!
