"Incredible value"

"Clean, comfortable, peaceful room in a classical, Regency style hotel. Buffet breakfast was more than sufficient and served in a lovely dining room. All the staff were friendly and efficient and i cant recommend this hotel highly enough."

"False advertising- i paid for a room with air conditioning and upon getting to the room, the AC was broken with a sign. We requested a room change and our room was changed 4 times as all of the advertised rooms with AC didn’t have AC. Every room either smelled like pee or had something broken with cards asking for maintenance notes. Do not stay here."

"We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall."

"Comfortable room (better than I expected for the price), very clean throughout, polite, friendly and helpful staff. Outside garden was rather unkempt and decking and woodwork needs attention. Interior refurbishment was being carried out with no disturbance to residents. Broken bathroom fan had been noted and was repaired on day two.
