We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and comfortable. Delightful host. Good location for access to hikes and good restaurants. Hot tub was a hit with our kids. Frogs seranaded us when we were outside in the evening.

The entire experience of staying at this Guest House was fantastic; even the weather cooperated! Mike is charming and it was a treat to meet his youngest daughter at the winery. The accommodations are modern, bright and well decorated. We especially liked the artwork and wondered if the signature R belonged to Robin.

The instructions for access were very good; we might suggest a light or arrow or sign at the 'sharp left turn' along the entry drive to indicate the direction of the guest house.Guest binder explained everything very well. Everything was very clean. The location is wonderful; quiet and lovely views.

This was our second time staying at Emandare. Our first time was in 2023. We were pleased to find nothing has changed. The property and guest house is as nice as it was two years ago. The beds were still comfortable. The kitchen was still well equipped. Everything was still very clean and fresh. And the views still wonderful. My family (wife & 3 daughter's) and I will be back for a third visit before long.

The Guesthouse

Perfect peaceful vineyard setting. Excellent wines. Great view. Beautifully furnished. Close to many local beaches, museums, and the excellent Mad Dog Crab Seafood Market and the amazing True Grain bakery in Cowichan Bay. Have some fun and explore!

It was a peaceful and restful stay at the beautiful Emandare vineyard. Lots of great local attractions, a perfect stop between Nanaimo and Victoria. Only downside was that there was no dishwasher so need to hand wash the dishes if you plan to cook there. Hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful. The wine shop is only open on Saturday but with advance planning you could reach out to the host regarding private tastings. Sad that we missed out on that. I’m sure we would have bought every bottle! The view is unmatched at this beautiful property.

The Perfect Vineyard Getaway

From start to finish, this was the most luxurious air bnb stay we've experienced on the west coast. The accommodations were immaculate and stunning with gorgeous views of the vineyard. The hosts left us detailed and helpful instructions and everything was on hand for a delightful, restful stay. We sat out on the patio watching the birds however in the sky, sipping rose, and utterly relished the tranquility. Exactly what city dwellers need to unwind. Plus there's a hot tub. Need I say more?

Perfect spot

There is no point in uploading photos because the listing photos are 100% accurate! Fantastic setting and very comfortable accommodation. The Tractor Shed is well equipped with everything we needed during our stay including a hot tub and a bbq. Big deck overlooking the vineyard with a view to the lake - great for relaxing and listening to all the birds. Minutes from Duncan, and a great spot from which to visit the local wineries. Mike and Robin live just across the way and are available to answer any questions that might come up while you are there. The 'welcome' bottle of rose was very appreciated and I made sure to purchase a bottle to bring home with me.Highly recommend.

Lovely stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The property is lovely and just as pictured! We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the patio in the mornings and evenings. The hosts were kind and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely Stunning!

This VRBO exceeds the pictures. It is incredibly beautiful, charming and comfortable. It is in a great location, with it being a short trip to Duncan where all the amenities of a larger centre are located. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a tranquil and scenic stay, with an incredible view!

Perfect Getaway with friends!

This was the perfect getaway to celebrate my birthday with some friends! Three moms needing peace and quiet away from busy life! We found this spot absolutely lovely, tranquil and really appreciated the little touches. From local coffee and soaps, to lovely furnishings and wine! Just what we were looking for!

Quick Biking weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the guest house. We spent most of our time biking and the location was perfect. less than 10 minute to the mountain. The guest house is very clean, beds are comfortable. We had everything we needed for our visit. Thank you!

Great Stay

We always enjoy our stay at Emandare. The place is always clean, great view, great vibe. It's always nice to get a complimentary bottle of wine and to catch up with Mike in the tasting room. We're already looking forward to our next stay up there.

Loved the hot tub and the wine

We spent a week here helping our daughter get settled after her move to the area. After a busy day it ws so nice to come home for a soak in the hot tub. So peaceful and private. We did miss having a full kitchen, and a normal sized TVbut didn't have much for either.
