"Overall, it was ok. The location was peaceful and relaxing, and we loved the layout of the house. But the place was difficult to find after dark, as the property was not well lit, nor were any exterior lights left on. I accidentally pulled into the neighboring cabin, causing the guests to be distrupted and annoyed. "This was the 2nd time my three friends and I stayed here for an annual HS reunion of sorts. As with last year, we had a good time! The bedrooms are nice with a little room to move about. The house was clean. We did plenty of cooking in the kitchen, too. There were no issues so there was no need to reach out to the host during our stay. My only criticism would be the cooking pans could be better, but we made do. There's a good chance we'll try for this place again next year!"

It was a big upgrade from the rustic cabins we usually stay in that have no running water or bathrooms. What a difference it makes to be able to come back to a warm place, take a hot shower, eat, soak in the hot tub and watch a movie. I will rent this again next year!"

"What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers.
