"Very comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great area of Argyle. Michael was a great host, and having made sure we were comfortably settled left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility that this part of the world offers. Saw the otter at the end of the pier on our first day and loved watching the Oyster Catchers at work on the beach. We will definitely be back."

"First and foremost, the host Beth exceeded our expectations! She was so great about communicating with us and responding to my questions. Checkin was great. Liss greeted us and provided the keys as well as some tips on restaurants, groceries etc. The apartment was wonderful. Plenty of space for the four adults in our group. Having a second bathroom was a huge plus. Bedrooms on the lower floor, with a spacious well lit open concept living room, dining and kitchen space. We walked everywhere....

"Appletree Cottage makes a great home base to explore Loch Lomond and Glasgow! We rented a car and made lots of day trips to explore the area. Alli and Murray were very welcoming and helpful with their instructions and recommendations. And beautiful Scotland exceeded our expectations!"

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Dunblane genossen. Die Ortschaft ist Zentral gelegen und mit einem Mietauto kann man wunderbare Ausflüge in die Highlands machen. Das Cottage ist gemütlich, es hat alles was es braucht. Uns gefiel der Aufenthalt und wird würden jederzeit dieses Angebot wieder buchen."

"Lots of good things to say about this place. The history of it being a stable - charming. The smell of lavender planted near the entrance - charming. The sound of sheep bleating if you crack one of the many the windows - charming. Church and old cemetery next door - charming. Young deer visits daily just outside the dining/living area - charming. I docked one star on cleanliness because I found a pacifier under one of the beds and I know they allow dogs but the kitchen smelled like dog -less...

"Barn was lovely. Very clean had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Hosts were lovely and provided amazing welcome back for us. Location was lovely and peaceful. "Two families (9 total with 5 being children) stayed very comfortably in this home. The home was incredibly inviting. Everyone had great space for bedrooms and bathrooms. Our children enjoyed the yard and stream tremendously - they didn't want to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed the short walk into Drymen, and took several day trips to nearby locations. Even Edinbourgh and Glenn Coe were quite accessible, each for a day. We highly recommend this property for a quiet, beautiful retreat for families...

"The only downside to the great location was deafening construction noise in the alley beside the hotel starting around 5:45 in the morning, it sounded like a sewer grate being repeatedly opened and closed. But the hotel and staff were great. "

Decent place to stay
"I was only there for one night in transit. The hotel was fine, I had had a fall on the way there and the reception desk provided plasters for which I was grateful, the kettle in my room was defective and they provided a replacement very promptly. The bed was comfortable which is of course also very important."
