Comfortable, well appointed and cozy home

This home had everything we needed for a stay near the lake. We wanted to be close to family and convenient drive to town for shopping and restaurants. The home is tucked away off the busy Lakeshore Drive. It had everything we needed to feel like Home and Moore! The layout is great for families with kids and very schedules due to the split floor plan. we were there off-season so the pool was closed but look forward to coming back and enjoying the beautiful backyard oasis. Communication with the property management company was very good. Home was very clean and even had a few extras that we didn’t expect.

one of the best houses i've ever stayed at

I cannot say enough positive things about this house or my experience with the rental company. Everything was clearly communicated, the property was pristine, the pool was incredible, the home itself was well stocked and well kept, and our family had the best trip. I would stay here 100 times over.

Great home for families!

We absolutely loved this property for our week-long family vacation. It was very clean and perfect for my husband and I, our 3 adult children, son-in-law and infant grandchild. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom for privacy, and the common areas were great: indoor and outdoor tables for meals, two living room areas and a charming screened in porch. The pool is in great condition and the gas fire pit a plus - the backyard setting is beautiful and private. It is one of the most well-appointed rentals homes we’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook nice meals, a wine fridge, grill, 4 really nice bikes, 6 (or more) nice lawn chairs, and plenty of pool toys. We had everything we needed and loved staying there! Property management was responsive. Finally, it’s an ideal location. Walking distance to Douglas Beach and a 5-minute drive to downtown Saugatuck. We will definitely re-book if we return this gorgeous area. We highly recommend this rental!!!

Family fun in Douglas

Loved our family time together in Douglas. The house could have been stocked better with some necessities but overall we loved it. The only problem where the house is located there are no sidewalks to walk around. Having a pool is a big bonus

We can't thank you(VRBO) and the house owner enough for being so helpful! Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip because my son was sick in the hospital. Everyone was so helpful and gracious! Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Douglas. The house is nice and very clean and slept our 8 family members comfortably. The location of the house is great. It's a very quiet neighborhood, and we enjoyed walking along the lake front. It was also a short drive to downtown Saugatuck and Oval Beach.

Beautiful house

Loved this home! Uniquely designed to provide several gathering places and groupings - both inside and outside. Great pool. Loved the access to the pool and the outside dining area from the kitchen. I would say it was perfect for our family.

Excellent Property

We stayed June 2021, the property and location was even better in person than in the pics. The location was perfect!! Very quiet but still close to everything. A quick walk/bike ride to Douglas Beach. A short car ride to downtown Douglas or Saugatuck. Douglas Beach was very nice and free. We walked it several times and returned for the sunsets! We were in the pool daily. Bring your own pool toys. The primary bedroom closet was locked. So we hung clothes in the closet by the front door. Each bedroom was very spacious. All three bathrooms were super nice. We used the outside grill but didn’t eat outside due to lack of sun cover. The management team was great and answered any and all questions we had. The location doesn’t have great cell service but property does have WiFi.

Great Pool and Property

Had a wonderful week long stay at the house enjoying the pool. Make sure to bring your own towels as only enough for the bathroom are provided and there are no beach/pool towels. Great location, walking distance to Douglas beach.

Wonderful Holiday Weekend Stay

We had a wonderful stay at westshore waters! The house was clean, updated and nicely decorated, layout was perfect our group and the pool was heated to the perfect temp for the somewhat chilly weather. My only feedback is with regards to small items that would go a long way to make the stay more comfortable- dish towels, bath mats, clocks in bedrooms. Otherwise it was wonderful and we cannot wait to come back!

A truly wonderful stay

Communication was top notch with us. We are experienced with VRBO and this was one of our very best. This home had been on a radar for awhile so when it came up, we had to have it. When they kept the heated pool open for us into October, we could NOT have been any happier. So close to everything, Saugatuck, Douglas, Oval Beach, etc. We plan to stay there again in the future.

Great house

We rented this with friends and had a wonderful time! We have two small children who had lots of room to play. The house is even better than the photos, it’s fully equipped with everything you need for a nice getaway. The pool was heated which was great, and the fire pit and grill easy to use. We would definitely come back!

Overall the property checked all of the boxes needed for our family. 3 King size beds, 3 bathrooms, a great outdoor space with heated pool and firepit, and a large open concept living room / kitchen area. Our family has very high cleanliness standards so our only critique was that the house could use a deep clean (baseboards, kitchen cupboards, under beds, etc).

We had a wonderful time here. It was very relaxing with the pool and the screened in porch that we titled the reading room. The space was great and very welcoming. The photos are a little older but the house still made for a fun and relaxing vacation! Very quiet neighborhood and a couple blocks from Lakeshore Drive, best place to see the beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets.

Sun and swim

We had a beautiful week at this property. It was very clean and we loved the king size beds in every room. Open floor plan was great especially with two infants and a two year old. Lots of privacy with the trees surrounding the pool. If I have to give a suggestion it would have been helpful to have some shades in the bedrooms to keep out the light. The screened in porch is lovely and very relaxing in the evening. I would definitely recommend this property. Also the management team was lovely to work with. We’ll be back.

Perfect Getaway

We had a perfect getaway in the perfect location. We loved being close to the lake, river & town but tucked away for quiet days and evenings at home. The pool was perfect and the house had all the amenities needed. Thank you for helping us create wonderful memories with our family!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood

This is a lovely home. The photos don't do it justice. The owners have thought through every little detail. We really enjoyed the pool too. We spent a lot of time at the house and didn't want to leave. We have visited this area for the last 3 years and we would definitely stay here again. The Douglas public beach is close and we walked to it twice.

Beautiful home

Perfect spot for a group trip. Spacious home & yard, great for entertaining. The pool, fire pit & screened in porch were wonderful. Only a few minute drive to Oval Beach, downtown Saugatuck & Douglas. Hope to stay here again!
