"This was our last destination on a 3 stop beach trip, and my goodness, what a surprise! The location is fantastic! Theoretically, you could pretty much walk anywhere. It was super close to beach access, close to the downtown harbor, close to the aquarium. Our room faced the highway and we even had a little peekaboo ocean view. This property has been really beautifully updated. The room was very clean. Towels were fluffy. Bed was super comfy. Would absolutely stay again!"

"Kids loved the pool and hot tub area, specially on the colder days. Rooms were clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent."

"This was an interesting hotel! I called twice concerning handicap accessible, both calls were answered very rudely. Our blanket had multiple holes, there was no air conditioning! We went to ask for an ice bucket and he gave us a plastic bag, The toilet was plugged and we were told to fix it our selves. I definitely would not stay again! The bathroom floor was not clean at all!!!"

"Our room 309 was clean and spacious. Good view out the window. Needed at least 4 bath towels to the room. The bed closes to the bathroom had a metal base that made noise everytime a person moved on it. Remember to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Parking lot was clean. Easy to pull out and go to close fun tourist things. For example Auquarium and Hatfield Marine Science Center."

"Room was nice however the AC did not cool the room. Id open the window to cool but there was no screen so bugs would get in. Also room smelled musty. Other than that stay was ok"

"We loved our stay at Embarcadero resort. This was our first time and we loved everything about it. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The only downside is there is no A/C, we did come on a warmer weekend so we opened door and windows and used the fan provided. The pool is so fun as well as a great view when you’re there. We will be coming back for sure."

"Perfect location for visiting the nearby aquarium, but a little out of the way for much else. Main highway was easily accessible. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Included were an AC unit, fridge, microwave, and Keurig machine. Loads of power outlets all over the room. Bathroom with combo shower/tub would comfortably work for two people. Front desk staff were always friendly and quick to help. Housekeeping only came once during 5-night stay, but room was already well stocked for a tidy...

"The oceanfront location was excellent. You are positioned high above the beach, however, so expect to climb down then back up a long set of stairs. The thing I like most about oceanfront sleeping is listening to the waves all night. I was positioned on the first floor, so all I had was a very small window that opens, that didn’t let me hear the waves. And the room got very hot without any air conditioning. The room was a little run down and old. The new owners may be planning some...

"I made reservations through Expedia and when we got there Newport Inn had NO RESERVATION FOR US the ITINERARY NUMBER DID NOT COME UP. There was nothing they would or could do. We HAD TO GET ANOTHER ROOM at almost triple the cost of the original reservation I made. I spent 45 minutes with Expedia to NEVER get a live person or help with the issue."

"I received an email saying I had to check in by 7pm because the front desk closed at 8. When I arrived there I was told that this was not true. So this was confusing for me as I was rushing to get there. Other than that miscommunication the stay was very pleasant. The condo was clean and the view was nice."
