"The bed was very uncomfortable and the cleanliness was marginal. Also, the location was out of the way. They did offer a shuttle to and from the airport, but must be arranged at least a half day ahead of time. We didn't know this, so our group had to take two Ubers to get to the property."

"It looks like just a split-level house, but Mr. and Mrs. Deal have turned it into a lovely oasis for visitors. They recommended Sofia's for lunch, an easy mile walk, and the food there is amazing. Mrs. Deal very kindly agreed to hold most of our luggage while we did a train ride to Seward for an overnight stay. She even put together a perfect brown bag breakfast since we were leaving so early. "I really wonder if all these reviews are paid. This was by far the dingiest courtyard place we’ve stayed at. When I booked it said Breakfast was offered but they charged $18 for a buffet that I wouldn’t have eaten even if it were free. Overall, it was a very strange experience."

"We only stayed one night and had an early flight, so admittedly limited exposure to the hotel. Hotel itself had a very strong, permeating odor of the hotel laundry services, atleast on the first floor. Despite our room being a down the hall and around a corner from the laundry services, all we could smell was chemical laundry odors. The room itself appeared to have been cleaned without attention to detail, as we found a candy wrapper under the bed and hair in the tub/shower. The front desk staff...
