Easy, Relaxed, and a Short Walk to the Beach. Located on the bluff above the sands.

This comfortable natural wood beach house features warm design and furnishings. About 125 yards from the beach, 3 minute walk. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings/beds. Cedar Sauna. Just park your car and leave it for the rest of your vacation! Don't even need to cross a street to get to the beach. No long steep hill to climb with beach gear. Walk barefoot, beachcomb keepsake rocks and shells, tide pool, beach blanket picnic, body surf, sandcastle, and experience the beautiful beach and not just view the ocean from a window. The waves are just a 5 minute walk from the house.

Located in rural West Marin far from busy towns and highways in a private development on a quiet road. Easy walk to general store, cafe, nature trails and beach!

Enjoy the sight and sound of waves crashing onto the beach below and fantastic panoramic ocean views from this oceanfront house.

Perfect for family vacations, reunions, get togethers with old friends, escapes from city life, work retreats, hikes to secluded beaches on pristine coastal nature trails, kayaking and romantic getaways.

Good base for scenic daytrips to Point Reyes National Seashore, Bodega Bay, Sonoma Wine Country, Russian River, Tomales Bay, and numerous quaint little towns throughout the region.

This home was very clean and organized! I would refer to it as a “fair-weather” home, as being out on the deck was a real plus, and being shut indoors due to bad weather would not have been a comfy option. The living room furniture was lovely, but not very comfortable, and the tv screen was a bit too small for the space. The kitchen/dining area were well-planned, great for gathering, although the available lighting could use higher wattage bulbs! Although one can see from the posted photos that this is a multi-level home, perhaps a greater emphasis on ADA accessibility could be stressed….many stairs, no grab bars in tub/ showers. Communication with Jerry was great! We would definitely recommend his family’s home for your next coastal stay!

Another great stay at Jerry's home. The layout is great for gathering and for privacy when needed and the views are amazing. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with cooking items. Jerry is easy to reach if needed.

Or family had a wonderful experience at the house! It has a cool mid-century modern feel and was comfortable. We were able to take in spectacular views and it was centrally located to places we wanted to go. Jerry is a fantastic communicator. He even sent an item back that one of our children left behind. We’d love to go back again some day.

Beach Get Away

This home was even better than expected. Modern Danish decor, lots of space wit comfortable seating and beds, a spectacular view, and a well appointed kitchen. Was nice to be able to get a casual dinner at close by Coastal Kitchen having travelled most of the day. During our stay we steamed mussels sourced from Tomales Bay Seafood (purchased at Palace Market in Point Reyes, a fun place), relaxed around the table playing games and watching movies, and hiked the cliffs outside of Depot Bay. Saw lots of seabirds. No wales but was not the migration season Highly recommend this place.

The View is beautiful. The home was well stocked except for trash bags, there were only 2 in the draw. We had the purchase some at local store. The trash Ben’s were full, because they had not been put out for pickup. The house is very comfortable. We would stay there again. If in the area.

Relaxing Stay

We loved waking up to the view of the ocean and watching the surfers with coffee in hand. In the evenings we enjoyed watching the sunsets and the deer; the little fawns jumping and playing with mamas nearby. All so peaceful!We are in our mid-60's and the walk down to the beach was doable. But, we walk regularly. Some our age and older might need to drive to the main beach parking lot a short drive to the south for a more level walk on the sand.Thank you to our host, Jerry, who is a wonderful communicator. He was very helpful and has anticipated a guests questions and needs in his instructions on site.

Dillon Beach property

This house was very clean and in a great location with a beautiful ocean view. A well stocked kitchen and appliances. A larger TV would be a good addition. I would stay at this property again.
