The Grand On Macfie
"This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth."

"Strangest check-in I have ever had; it was almost like I was an annoyance. No interest in me as a customer. Opened door and carpet was old and had not been cleaned after the last customer.
