"Wir haben im Nebengebäude gewohnt und hatten eigentlich ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss erwartet. Leider lag unser Zimmer nach hinten heraus und war dadurch eher ein Souterrain-Zimmer. Es war relativ klein, hatte eine niedrige Deckenhöhe und war vor allem sehr dunkel – dadurch hatte man leider schnell das Gefühl, im Keller zu wohnen. Grundsätzlich war das Zimmer sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Allerdings hat die Lage und Beschaffenheit des Zimmers den Aufenthalt...

"Perfect stay, nice staff, room was lovely, very comfy large bed with great pillows. Nespresso, small fridge and balcony. Huge rainshower in the bathroom and AC for the hot summer days. Absolutely recommendable. Would stay there again, definetly. "

"Overall the room was quiet, clean and nicely presented, however it was a bit dark and awkwardly shaped with little room at the foot of the bed due to the odd shape of our particular room (1807). The James is ideally located in the centre of Rotterdam and is walkable from the railway station. Overall good value and would recommend to others."

"The location is fabulous — it took us just 4 minutes to walk to Rotterdam Train Station for trains to Amsterdam Airport or nearby towns. The whole walk is under cover, so rain isn't a worry at all.
