"This stay was a homecoming for me, since my parents had lived right on the St. Lawrence, and nearly the entirety of my late mom's family still live nearby. The area is largely agricultural, with many dairy farms and green pastures. It is a truly beautiful part of NY State and we were very much looking forward to getting back there to visit. "This location is heaven! Absolutely the most peaceful, relaxing vacation we've ever had! Very secluded. The sound of the river gently lulled us to sleep each night and sweetly greeted us upon waking. And the cabin was clean and well-outfitted for two. Very comfortable. We hope to visit again!!"

"We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. We enjoyed the bi-level deck with a large table and chairs for 6 on both levels. The inside common area was plenty spacious for the one rainy day we needed to be indoors. "We stayed in the Finch and loved it. Bed was super comfy and the shower is divine! I love the care and thoughtfulness that is put into every aspect of the cottages and the grounds. There is everything you need for cooking and a dishwasher! We brought our two small dogs, and we enjoyed exploring the property, especially by the docks. The fall decor is grogeous. "We had such a lovely stay at Gatehouse 2! The unit was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed our meals outside on the deck with a table that could seat all of our family of 8 easily while catching beautiful views of the river! While we were nervous that this unit seemed to be a shared house (duplex), it was quiet and we had our own space with plenty of privacy.
