"There are a lot of renovations going on, and it might not be at the height of its game… But they do everything they can there to make you comfortable… Including upgrades and five star service. We would definitely go back they are renovating the spa which I believe is probably taking away from giving attention to other parts of the property, but I believe the owner and his staff have all the right intentions and because of that and because of their service, we will definitely be back."

"A fantastic log cabin very private, quite and surrounded by wildlife. Close to amenities including some fantastic local wineries. Joyce was an excellent host who made us feel extremely welcome. Will definitely stay again and bring extended family..Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money "

"The house was as described. There is a beautiful kitchen, a lot of living space. It was clean. The bathroom is large and the tub is spacious. The property is open and peaceful. The hot tub was not hot but it was also winter and quite cold while we were there. Overall great stay - highly recommend."

"The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, the AC worked well, but the hotel is very basic. Breakfast was very basic, it was the same thing every day. They can certainly do better."

"The staff was outstanding! We enjoyed the size of the room and the equipped kitchen. The little alcove outside the bathroom was a nice touch for two people getting ready. The outdoor seating areas were nice in the evening with fire pit going. Would definitely recommend this place."

"Breakfast was excellent for a continental breakfast. Surrounding area was beautiful. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. History of the area is beyond fantastic. Where they lack is in sharing where to go to experience the incredible American history that the area affords - there should be material at the front and in every room sharing the history of the area and the incredible state and federal museums to explore! Do your research... Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!! "

"I arrived and was informed that there was no air conditioning or hot water at the hotel. They said they had reached out to other hotels to accommodate their guests. They moved me to a new hotel where I had to book a new room and pay for it out of pocket. They said I would be refunded but then refused when I asked. Do mot book this hotel."

"Facility was open 1 month. Rooms were well kept,,,bedding & bathrobes -top shelf. Room had adequate closet space ,,,,but did lack drawer space. Very large bathroom --but 2 sink vanity was on the small side. Staff was good, helpful & pleasant (some waiter service, needed more "seasoning". Town of Beacon very nice ---plenty of nice restaurants & pubs. Overall a very good experience."

"Room was not great there was a kitchenette but no utensils or plates towels were very cheap quality there was no shampoo when I arrived I had to get from front desk property was not cleaned didn’t find trash can anywhere only in the room one trash can was out side overflow this property should be 1 star will never go again charged over $100 per night but not good place to stay"

"Walked into room saw a centipede the size of a baseball walking around, bunch of smears and weird marks on the headboards of the bed, had to fiddle around with the A/C for 10 minutes to get it to work."
