"I needed a place to stay while my husband was in the hospital recovering from major spine surgery. I wanted some place quite so i could relax and unwind after being at the hospital all day. When you walk in you are greeted with the most breathtaking view. All windows face the water and on a clear day its amazing. The apartment is clean and inviting with all the amenities you need. "I stayed here for a week to visit my brother. It was perfect walking distance and i did a lot more walking in San Francisco than i do at home! I wasn't at the hotel much during the day but it was quiet at night and i slept good! I had a small fan because I'm hot natured and that helped. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again. Thank you!"

"Sweet comfortable quiet garage level apt in good location. Many local restaurants nearby. Efficiency kitchen. Howard who lives upstairs, is a lovely, accommodating host. Parking is moderately challenging if the driveway is blocked which, during our stay, was the case. "

"We enjoyed our one night stay here at the Marina Motel. Our exact room was right on Lombard St. which is HWY 101 so expect a lot of noise. Even though there were lots of noise, we enjoyed the stay. The room is very small so I would caution staying anymore than a couple nights, especially if you have older kids or more than 2 adults. "Quiet neighborhood, great location, fantastic hosts. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The listing was very accurate. Great host that communicated quickly and accurately. When we come back to San Francisco we will definitely stay here again."

The location was nice; however, we had several issues with the rental, most alarming was that someone was living in the shared basement even though the house was listed as an entire, private home. There were some other oddities such as a lack of clean sheets on one of the beds, prescription medications in the refrigerator, and a lack of response from the host who did not provide entrance instructions until several hours after the check-in time or...
