"We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Noumea Ilot Maitre Resort for three nights, and it was an excellent experience. The resort is located on a beautiful island, accessible by ferry, which adds to the sense of escape and exclusivity. "The room was excellent, but then again we paid a fortune for it. The issue I have is that we arrived on Jan 1st, and left on Jan 6th. On Jan 6th is when the Hotel was fully opened again, besides the swimming pool bar which was still closed. The inside pool doesn't allow children, and I have 2 kids who wanted to be there. There was no options for Room Service as everything was closed due to the time of year, which I would have thought would be peak period and being a Hotel, everything should...

"Our room was a good room in fair condition. Generally the whole property was lacking the sparkle of a 4/5 star hotel , Although it was priced as a 5 star !!. Differently not up to Marriott standards although marketed as a Marriott Hotel. On line Marriott say the hotel is "Closed" and there is no name at the entrance or any directions to the property. Any member of the general public can and do use the pool and other areas of the property for a small daily fee. Overall we were very disappointed...

"Beautiful view of the beach, room was a bit tired, you could tell they were working on improving them. Comfortable enough and in a great location. Although sold as a serviced apartment it’s important to note that the apartments are clearly only serviced on the weekend so if you are staying Saturday to Saturday ensure you plan to accommodate clean towels etc, there is a washing machine."

"Tout a été appréciable. La maison a tout ce qu’il faut, trés bien équipée, on a juste besoin d’apporter vêtements et nourriture. Des canoës et paddles sont à disposition. Tout est parfaitement entretenu. Nous avons été trés bien accueillis, et avec des cocos verts fraîchement cueillis à boire. Un superbe site pour décompresser et se détendre! Je recommande!"
