"Property owner answered all my questions in a timely manner. The property was exactly as described. Me and 6 of my buddies stayed there for a nice fishing and golfing trip and had plenty of space to hang out on a rainy day. Really enjoyed our stay!!"

"We were looking for a quaint place to get away for springbreak 2024 and found this gem. Nice and quiet, snowed, miles hiked on the north country trail, and views of the lake from the hot tub. The little gas station around the corner had amazing pizza too. The ownees checked in on us and were great communicators. The place is small but it was a perfect fit for 2 adukts, 2 kida and a chocolate lab to sneak away and have lake front views."

"The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂"

"My husband and I enjoyed a weekend in Grand Haven. The house is perfect location, a quick easy 10 minute walk to downtown shops, restaurants, breweries, Grand Haven State Park and Chinook Pier. We walked everywhere! Loved the upper apartment, it was perfect for the two of us."

"We had a fantastic stay at our cottage. Beach and bath towels were provided, space was clean and cozy, grill and fire pit out back with chairs. Even the internet access was great. And being steps away from your own quiet beach access point was amazing. Incredible views and very convenient. Would highly recommend."

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts are great! Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!"

While we never needed to contact the owners for anything, they were wonderful about checking in to be sure everything was going smoothly, as well as checking to see if we needed anything. There is no WiFi and the cell signal is weak, however this worked perfectly for them to have a nice disconnected weekend. They 100% would chose this place again. "If you’re just using this home as a base for things like Grand Haven, Lake Michigan, Michigan’s Adventure, this is a great place. Lots of space for multiple families. Outside of home needs a lot of TLC including backyard. Inside was clean but beds were old and couches were pretty uncomfortable. Didn’t use the kayaks as the launch point is a couple blocks walk and didn’t want to deal with that."

"During our stay we had a terrible experience the owner stole our money and we never got able to enter the house we waited all day and nothing we wasted our vacation and drove until midnight searching for another hotel exhausted we wasted money and time this really messed up our vacation"

"My friends and I stayed at this house for a golf trip we took in May 2024. Made use of the tons of space, the pool, and the rec area when we weren't out on the course! Highly recommend this place to stay for groups of all sizes. Something for everyone to do if you aren't out and about. Bryan and Tara are fantastic hosts, and were so communicative throughout the check-in/check-out process.
