"We loved staying here. The hotel staff were very friendly and kind. The apartment was spacious and clean. We also got upgraded to a bigger suite. If you have a car this is a good location although the drive to the location has narrow roads so be careful. If you have no car then the hotel offers transportation. The pool and lounge and beautiful. The hotel cat Noongi is so cute!!!! "

Good selection of breakfast and very helpful staffs especially Wai Wai and the manager (forgot his name). Gym is well equipped but have not used the spa though. The only negative point is limited car parking space and has to pay (I think it is standard in Europe). However, you can park free at nearby the residential parking area. "My stay at Montenegro Lodge wasn’t without its challenges, albeit very minor ones. On the first day we discovered that the door didn’t lock, so we had limited security. The internet was intermittent at times, and the hot water was not sufficient to fill and use the hot tub. However, where this property fell short, the staff were there to pick things up. "Lovely sprawling property with some very nice workers. Uneven staff. Poor communication. The restaurant waitstaff were very nice, and Dragan, the head bellman, was particularly observant, attentive and competent. It’s well worth staying at Conte, and we hope to return, but I’d suggest you have personalized check in and parking info and confirm your reservation 24 hours before arrival. Also “a few dozen stairs” truly could be 100+ big stone steps. "
