"The Sefton is a grand building toward the town centre end of the promenade and about 10 minutes walk from the Sea Terminal and buses to and from the airport stop close by, so very convenient. Check in was smooth. I booked an atrium room which was quiet, modern but not bland. Good bathroom, living area with a balcony. "We stayed to end out TT holiday in the IOM the hotel was gray outside and looked very dowdy. "It's a very clean hotel, the ownership is very friendly and helpful. It is not a modern cookie cutter hotel or building. It is the Victorian era. It is not fancy in modern terms. The stairs are steep and narrow, they way they were done at the time it was built. I would like more lighting on them. Breakfasts were good and satisfying. I had plenty of hot water. "
