"Standard APA hotel; small but cozy and comfortable. I couldn't find any HDMI plugs on the TV, so I didn't plug in my Switch. Noise level was "pretty low, for the most part." Four elevators ensured I rarely encountered another person until I reached the lobby. I didn't check to see if there was a coin laundry. Dueling Lawson locations (across the courtyard-like area in front of the hotel), when a nearby 7-11 would have been preferable to a 2nd Lawson. Coffee from the area's vending machines...

"The room was spacious and clean, though it gave a slightly dated appearance. There was a strange smell from the bathroom, which solved itself after a shower. The breakfast buffet had great Japanese and Western options. The staff was all very polite. All in all it makes a decent pick if you are coming from a different part of Japan and are in need of a hotel close to the airport. They have a half hourly shuttlebus to and from the airport. "It was a truly pleasant experience during my first visit to Tokyo. Although this hotel is approximately an hour away from the main tourist attractions, I found that staying at the Mitsui Gardens hotel was exceptionally worthwhile. The rooms are notably modern and spacious, which is a significant advantage in Japan. My previous room was essentially a one-bedroom apartment, complete with a washer and dryer (though without supplies), a full kitchen, and more, making it ideal for our family...

"It’s a nice hotel overall. The room is quite small/tight, but I guess that’s the norm in Japan. Besides that, it’s in a good location with a train station right next door. The staff are very nice. They also have traditional Japanese baths which I unfortunately didn’t have time to use, but that’s a huge plus! The free breakfast was decent. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I’d recommend it to others when visiting the Tokyo area"
