"We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Perfect for 2–4 people, and our family of four was very comfortable. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Avignon, making it easy to explore the city on foot. We’d happily stay here again!"

"We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. "The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error."

"The property was beautiful and well stocked with everything you would need for a long term stay (my stay was unfortunately only 2 nights). Mika and Michel were lovely hosts. The location is close to the Marseille airport, so perfect for an early morning return flight. It is also centrally located to many places to visit / especially Aix en Provence. "

"Everything with the unit was good except parking is a very big challenge. You cannot get within 3-4 blocks of the unit with a car because it is in a restricted area. The stairwell to get to the unit is very dark, narrow and winding. It was very difficult to manage luggage. The host needs to provide more detail about these things before arrival."
