Ended up having a Sunday lunch at the pub next door to the rooms and it was the best Sunday lunch I've had out! Staff we're great and attentive! Would definitely return!"

"Lovely room and facilities but why charge for car park if you’re staying, appreciate it’s near the airport but there must be a way of controlling access without penalising guests who have already paid to stay."

"Original old rooms but full of character. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee. Lovely river view with outside tables and chairs. Had dinner and breakfast which were very good. Ample parking"

"Apart from a few items on the carpet which suggested incomplete vacuuming and some difficulty filling the kettle (awkward with the tap system) no complaints at all. Large room, wide single beds, plenty of storage and well stocked bathroom, complete with a bath which I hadn't expected. Check in was straightforward and hotel grounds were very well maintained and attractive."

"We stayed in a beautiful hive which was nicely done and the hotel itself was beautiful. We were disappointed not to have a bath or to be able to use any the sauna facilities and that whole building seemed to be in the midst of renovation. We were also surprised that breakfast wasn’t included and that when we ordered English breakfasts we didn’t get any toast and when we asked for some were then charged £2.50 per slice. I feedback when we departed that I was not impressed but nothing was done...

When we got there all our friends had their rooms booked , even our friend who booked the week before. When it came to us checking in our booking wasnt there, even though i had the confirmation email. "Abrupt and mildly condescending check in, poorly maintained facilities, outdated rooms, filthy looking carpets. For somewhere this pretentious, they could really do with the quality to match the price."
