"The hotel was amazing! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. The views of the river from our balcony were spectacular. And, it just felt so peaceful sitting at the outdoor palapa-style restaurant/bar, enjoying the quiet air, listening to the birds, and having fun watching for our crocodile friend in the river, lol! "Chan Chich is an exquisite adventure melding together experiencing Mayan Ruins, jungle experience with a conservation twist. We loved our daily interactions with staff to include Cali who is an expert mixologist, Emil who made everything look easy, Sean who always had a smile, and the wonderful cook Ian. "This is one of two units in Naz's building. We stayed in the other one first and then moved to this one for the duration of our stay. They are on the second floor of a building located in the center of Orange Walk Town, across from the central park. Great for people watching with a front deck and a screened-in rear deck. We didn't need the bedroom air conditioning as the windows on the south side are louvers with screens. We weren't bothered by any biting insects and even the few flies...
