"Staff were extremely helpful. Excellent location. It may have been unusually hot, but the air conditioning unit in our room didn't work and it appeared that it had not been working for a long time. Some of the outside paintworks was terrible; rust showing through in many places. The breakfast was not good due to being under the lights to keep it warm - fried eggs were inedible, the bacon was like shoe leather. The whole place looked very tired and in need of a total renovation"

"The property was next door to a bus stop which was very handy the only problem was the door locking system some times it work's ok sometimes it doesn't id prefer a key system myself??? Technology is okay when it works ok,but not always 100/% per cent reliable ? But otherwise they Hotel was spot on"

"Very comfortable and clean room. Love the claw foot bath tub and the cookies were delicious! A bit hot in the room as there is no AC and the fan has to work overtime. Very close to the cathedral and town center. Breakfast was delicious with good variety."

"Fantastic location, only a short walk to the Castle, Cathedral and older parts of the City, avoiding the Steep Hill. Added bonus is to have parking on site, albeit a little bit of parking jenga at times having to move cars around to accommodate other guests wanting / needing to move. Staff are very nice as were the other guests who you sit with in the shared tables at breakfast."

"Our stay was very good. It was in the middle of the steep hill. So, was a minute walk from Lincoln castle. Around the hotel was lovely boutique shops and cafes. The a Hotel had a coffee shop that served lovely food. We would definitely return to Rest hotel. 😍"

"Very close to the Lincoln Cathedral. It is a hike up the hill but lots to see along the way. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Good food and very good service."
