"Place is a gem in historical Belvidere. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was like new. Jen’s communication was amazing and she was super sweet. Lots of choices for the continental breakfast. Everything of interest was walkable from the hotel. We will definitely come back even if it’s for a getaway for no reason and we don’t live far!"

"The room was clean the only couple of things that were not up to par was the blinds on the windows they were broken and served no purpose. The tub drain was broken & the water didn't go down while showering, & the worst for me was the AC wasn't working properly couldn't control anything on it. Other than that our stay was enjoyable and would return if the issues mentioned get fixed. The motel was very convenient to where my husband & I needed to go."

The outside of the property was not maintained AT ALL. Does not look like the picture on the internet. BEWARE!!! No breakfast provided, only an IHOP next to the property. The only good thing I can say was they only charged $20 for our dog to stay with us. Charged $100 security deposit, returned once they checked out the room upon leaving to...

The location of this property was helpful for our travel since it was near an RV park where our children and grandchildren were staying and we were permitted to stay with our dog. The property was definitely more rustic than chic. Cooking options in the kitchen were very limited. We did find a few good restaurants close by.
